What are the benefits of co-living?
As an Addams Coliving resident, you’ll have the flexibility of an individual lease and the ease of fully furnished apartments. We’ll also take care of the details with weekly cleaning of common areas in your unit. You’ll also enjoy a built-in community feel, with resident events that make it easy to meet new people while still having the privacy of your own lease and bedroom.
Do you offer roommate matching, or can I live with friends?
Yes! At Addams Coliving, all residents sign individual leases, which means you’re welcome to apply with friends or have our team assist with roommate matching. Roommate assignments are completed by management, and while we gladly accept specific requests, please note that they cannot be guaranteed. Our team will make every effort to address and resolve any concerns that may arise during your tenancy to help ensure a comfortable living experience. Please also keep in mind that units are co-ed.
Is the apartment furnished and what’s included in the rent?
Yes! All apartments at Addams Coliving come fully furnished, so you can move in with ease. In addition, residents enjoy an all-inclusive utility package—including high-speed WiFi—for just $70 per month.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Nearby groceries include La Casa Del Pueblo, Jewel-Osco, and Costco, along with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and Pilsen’s amazing dining scene just steps away.
What amenities are available?
Addams Coliving offers a full range of amenities, including a fitness center, yoga studio, coworking space, tenant lounge, movie room, and a community kitchen.
Residents also enjoy a rooftop terrace with a grilling area, social events, heated parking garage, bike storage, and a package receiving room.
Is there parking available, and what does it cost?
We offer convenient resident parking for $150 per month, so you can count on having a secure, assigned spot right at home.
What is Addams Coliving close to?
Addams Coliving is in a prime location just steps from UIC and the Illinois Medical District. You’ll be close to UIC Hospital, Rush, and Stroger Hospital, with downtown Chicago only minutes away. Our location also makes it easy to access nearby campuses and schools, so whether you’re studying, working in healthcare, or commuting to the city, you’re right where you need to be.
What is the neighborhood like?
Our community is located in Pilsen, one of Chicago’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods. From Addams Coliving, you’re just an 11-minute walk from Thalia Hall, a local landmark known for live music and dining.
How do I get around the city?
Public transit is close by. The 9 Ashland bus stop is a 6-minute walk, and the 18th Street Pink Line station is a 14-minute walk. Millennium Park and the Loop are about a 15-minute drive, making commuting or exploring the city simple.
How close are you to universities?
UIC is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive. DePaul’s Downtown Campus is about 12 minutes by car, and IIT is 10 minutes by car.
What hospitals are nearby?
We’re close to the Illinois Medical District. UI Hospital is a 5-minute drive, Stroger Hospital is 7 minutes away, and Rush Hospital is 9 minutes away.

Move-in ready units come with appliances, toiletries, furniture, and high-speed Internet to make this your easiest move yet. Short-term leases are available with a 3-month minimum term.
LIVING ROOM ESSENTIALS
You move into a fully furnished apartment that lets you feel right at home, right away. Designed with pieces from luxury brands, each unit is outfitted with modern furniture to optimize space and create a homey feel.
MOVE-IN READY BEDROOMS
Each room at Addams Coliving comes with a full-size bed frame and mattress, a bedside table, lamp, closet, mirror, trash can, and hangers. Select rooms also have an attached bathroom for optimal privacy.
WEEKLY CLEANINGS
At no additional charge, we’ll send a professional cleaning crew to your apartment once a week to clean the unit’s communal spaces. This includes floors, kitchen, bathroom, and living room.
THE BASICS
We’ll provide plates, bowls, cups, mugs, pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils.
APPLIANCES
We’ll also take care of your kitchen appliances. We supply a toaster, blender, coffee maker, kettle, ironing board, and other essential items so you don’t have to worry about them.
IN-UNIT LAUNDRY
At Addams Coliving, our goal is to make your life easier. Simple luxuries like in-unit laundry do just that. No more hauling loads of clothes to a laundromat or frantically looking for quarters.
